For over 20 years, Rick DeMonico has provided his imagination and creativity in the publishing and entertainment industries. He is currently the Senior Art Director at Albert Whitman & Company where he oversees the design and production of over 100 children’s books per year. He previously spent 13 years as an Art Director at Scholastic. There he designed all types of children’s books, many of which went on to be New York Times bestsellers.
Designer and marketing guru Heather Barber brings over 20 years of expertise to the firm. Originally from Massachusetts, Heather moved to New York City back in the early 1990’s with five hundred dollars and a dream. She attended Pratt Institute, studying illustration and graphic design while also taking voice lessons and acting classes at HB Studio in Greenwich Village. She went on to work at various design studios, publishing houses, and advertising/marketing agencies. You will always find her with a sketchbook in hand.
